A summit surrounded by the Rosarie Forest in E Central Moray, Machattie's Cairn rises to a height of 368m (1207 feet) 2 miles (3 km) south of Mulben and 4½ miles (7 km) east northeast of Craigellachie. The Hill of Towie Wind Farm extends over its slopes.
