Ferret of Keith Moor

An unusually-named area of remote moorland in the N of North Ayrshire, Ferret of Keith Moor rises to 289m (948 feet). The Kelly Reservoir is located to the northwest. The name Ferret of Keith derives from a ruined steading which once stood nearby.
