Pass of Brander

A narrow pass in the Lorn district of Argyll and Bute, the Pass of Brander links the head of an arm of Loch Awe with Loch Etive to the northwest. It is occupied by the course of the River Awe with Ben Cruachan rising to the north. Both the A85 Trunk Road and the West Highland Railway Line hug the northeastern bank of the river.
