A broad summit on the left bank of the River Lossie in N Moray, the Hill of the Wangie rises to 319m (1046 feet) 1½ miles (2.5 km) northeast of Dallas. It is cloaked by a substantial commercial coniferous plantation known as the Dallas Forest.
