A valley in Wester Ross, Glen Carron represents the valley of the River Carron, extending southwest from Loch Sgamhain, in the Ledgowan Forest, to Loch Carron. The A890 road and Kyle of Lochalsh branch of the Highland Railway also pass through the valley. There are small settlements at Craig, Achnashellach, Balnacra, Strathcarron and Achintee.
