An outlying residential district of Cumbernauld in North Lanarkshire, Craigmarloch is located 1¼ miles (2 km) northwest of the town centre. The area comprises private housing built 1995 - 2012 and was the last development planned by the Cumbernauld Development Corporation before it was wound up. Its streets are named after Scottish valleys; namely Glen Clova, Glen Devon, Glen Dochart, Glen Douglas, Glen Falloch, Glen Fyne, Glen Lochay, Glen Lednock, Glen Luss, Glen Moriston, Glen Orchy, Glen Rosa and Glen Sannox. The land here had previously been Auchinbee Farm and the farmhouse remains. A Tesco superstore, post office and other facilities lie to the south on Auchinbee Way. Dullatur Antonine Golf Course separates Craigmarloch from Dullatur to the northeast, while the Craigalbert Centre and the Cumbernauld Community Park lie to the southeast. The Edinburgh-Glasgow railway lies just to the northwest, with Croy Station a half-mile (0.8 km) to the west.
