One of a group of rocky islets at the northern end of the Sound of Iona in the Inner Hebrides, Eilean Dubh na Ciste lies close to the Ross of Mull, and a quarter-mile (0.5 km) west of Kintra. It extends to an area of 2.8 ha (6.8 acres) but shrinks markedly at high tide.
