A 1½-mile / 2.5-km artificial channel which diverts water from the Dunwan Burn, below the Dunwan Dam in East Renfrewshire, into the Picketlaw Reservoir, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) southwest of Eaglesham. It was created in the later 18th century in association with the development of water-powered cotton mills in Eaglesham.
