Parish of Inverkeithny

Inverkeithny is a parish, which lies in Aberdeenshire Council Area, some 6 miles (9 km) southwest of Turriff and 8 miles (13 km) northeast of Huntly in Aberdeenshire.

It is located in the old county of Banffshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 31 sq. km (11.9 sq. miles). Inverkeithny has 5 neighbouring parishes; namely Auchterless, Forgue, Marnoch, Rothiemay and Turriff. The boundaries of this parish were modified among significant changes recommended by the Boundary Commissioners after the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1889.
