A neighbourhood of Clarkston in East Renfrewshire, Stamperland lies a half-mile (0.8 km) north northeast of the town centre, next to the border with South Lanarkshire. Development began in the 1920s on the fields of Mid Netherton, Stamperland and Overlee farms, which occupied hills in the north, centre and south of the area respectively. In the north are rather grand identical detached bungalows, white-harled with slate roofs highlighted with red pantiles and red-brick details. In the middle are rather less opulent two-storey harled semi-detached properties while, to the south, of the area are neat identical detached bungalows, also white-harled but rather narrower than those in the north. Stamperland Parish Church dates from 1964, while Clarkston Railway Station is situated immediately to the south.
