A small settlement lying next to the A846 in the centre of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Redhouses is located 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of Bridgend and 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Ballygrant. Islay Woollen Mill is located on the River Sorn just off the main road.
