Loch Carn a' Mhaoil

A small loch in the SE of the island of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Loch Carn a' Mhaoil is situated to the west of the smaller Loch Tallant, 1¼ miles (2 km) west southwest of Kintour. Extending to 10.3 ha / 25.5 acres, it supports a recreational fishery. The loch receives streams from the northwest and southwest, and is drained to the northeast by the Allt Loch Carn a' Mhaoil, which eventually joins the Kintour River.
