Annick Water

A significant river of Cunninghame, the Annick Water rises between Long Loch and White Loch in East Renfrewshire. It flows southwest, receiving various streams including the Corsehouse Burn from Corsehouse Reservoir and the Swinzie Burn. At Stewarton, it receives the East Burn, Cuts Burn and Clerkland Burn before continuing southwest to form the boundary between East Ayrshire and North Ayrshire for 3 miles (5 km). It then follows a meandering course into Irvine, where it falls into the River Irvine south of Fullarton, on the southern edge of the town. Its total length is 17 miles (27 km).
