A location centred on a farm and a cottage in th S of the island of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Leorin lies next to the B8016 road 2¼ miles (3.5 km) north northwest of Port Ellen and a similar distance south southeast of Islay Airport at Glenegedale. The Leorin Lochs lie a mile (1.8 km) to the east and the Leorin River descends from these to become the Kintra River a half-mile (1 km) to the west northwest.
